"Puthumazhayay" was a pioneering effort which brought its members in large numbers to a concert by a bunch of young and sensational musicians, streamed live from Kochi, and compered by Region-1 hosts virtually. The event left the audience spell bound, yearning for more such events. The success and popularity of the event, led to the idea of starting a music club for the R1 family. With the confidence gained from the fabulous success of "Puthumazhayay” a similar virtual event followed; this time with vibrant performances from the homegrown musical talent of region-1, that marked the official launch of Region-1 music club, "Rhythm of R-1". It was inaugrated by AKMG's own celebrity playback singer Zonobia Safar and was followed by scintillating performances of Region-1 members. Both these virtual events earned wide spread appreciation not only for the music but the seamless manner in which it was conducted, which kept the audience absorbed throughout. With the launch of its music club "Rhythm of R-1", going ahead, there is certainly more events in store for its members to perform , enjoy and interact.
