First sporting event for the term 2021-2013 was held on 16 th July Friday at 11am In line with the theme of "happiness in togetherness" we had our friendly football match,which was held at the indoor dome in Al Mariah. The inaugural, rolling of the ball was done by Dr.Asif, R-1 Chairman and Dr.Oosman Jasmine, founder member and former secretary of R-1, together. The spirit and camaraderie on the field in the midst of this age diversity was evident and obvious. There were many standout performances in the field Dr. Arun was captain of Team Red Devils, and Dr Osman Jasmine was captain of Team Black Hawks The Region-1 ladies had a penalty shoot out in which our ladies enthusiastically took part.
